Abstract
Lymphoma is a malignant tumor that occurs in the immune system and is largely classified into Hodgkin¡¯s lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin¡¯s lymphoma (NHL). Follicular lymphoma, one subtype of NHL, can histologically transform into more aggressive cancers due to the nature of the disease: diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL), Burkitt lymphoma, and lymphoblastic lymphoma. We present a case of two different subtypes of lymphoma diagnosed simultaneously after a tonsillectomy in a 37-year-old female: DLBCL and follicular lymphoma.
